Sue Ellis

Sue Ellis, 79, of Dayton, passed away June 24, 2016. Sue was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 19, 1936. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to the flowers in her garden and spending time with her family and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Deforest Haynie; mother, Lucille Renick; sister, Gwynne Dehaven; and her niece, Amy Dehaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Chris White, son, Todd Ellis; grandchildren, Katie (Jon) Abramson, Chelsea White, Courtney White; great grandchildren, Andre, Maddox, Aiden, soon to be Alexia; and several cousins and special friends.

She was a wonderful cook and loved time spent with her family. She retired from ITT Technical Institute where she worked as their financial aid advisor.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 1:30 pm with Andrew Brewster officiating.
