Sue Bolding

Sue E. Bolding, age 83, passed away February 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mahelia and Jefferson Cox; husband, Sammie L. Bolding, Sr.; sisters: Kathaleen and Annie Mae; brothers: Jefferson, Robert and Orange Cox; daughters: Betty and Marie Bolding; son, Sammie L. Bolding, Jr.; grandson, Sanford Felton, III; and a great granddaughter, Brandy Bolding.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Bolding and Darlene (Sam, Jr.) Lucas; son, Michael Bolding; grandchildren: Niecy, Jennifer, Shawn, Kelly, Lakeisha, Ashlynn, Sammie III, Kenneth and Brandon; 11 step-grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends: Michael and Josie Chakers, Leatrice Stollings, Janet Redd and Nancy Swope-Shern; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Price.

She was a member of United Community Brethren Church for many years. She worked at St. Francis and Key Bank for a number of years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at United Community Brethren Church, 15 West Hillcrest, Dayton, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Pastor Reginald Harvey officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West Third Street. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. The family would like to express their thanks to The Hospice of Dayton and to Good Samaritan North for all the love and care that was given to them.
