Sudie G. Burks

BURKS, Sudie G. age 94 of Moraine, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Welch, son Carlos W. Welch, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughter Elsie and husband Jay Moore of Moraine; grandchildren Susan and husband Tim Hartley, Tim and wife Marcy Combs, Terry Welch and Michael Welch; great grandchildren Andrea Behr, Timmy and Shannon Combs; step grandchildren Corey and Wyatt; brother Bill Gabbard of Richmond, KY; numerous nieces and nephews, among them being Elsie Tatum, Ila Mae Nunn, Sudie Nunn and Imajean Buck; and a host of other relatives and friends. Sudie retired from Sunshine Biscuit after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., with Pastor Gary Lee Clemmons officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens.
