Stevie R. Daugherty, 58, of Huber Heights, passed away July 12, 2016. Stevie was born in Pawpaw, Kentucky on August 5, 1957 to the late Jim and Pearl Daugherty.
Stevie retired from Spoltman Construction after more than 15 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, karaoke, playing video games and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Stevie was preceded in death by his sisters, Opal Phillips, Ella Daugherty; and brother, Ed Hurley.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Wilson; daughter, Malissa (Steve) Doak; son, Steven Daugherty; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Nicholas; sister, Judy (Bud) Burgess; brothers, James (Debra) Daugherty, Curt (Denise) Daugherty, Doug (Debbie) Daugherty; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will follow on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Dayton Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
