Stephen Terry Woods, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2022. He was born on March 20, 1950 to the late Richard and Leona Woods.
He enjoyed collecting antiques and jars. He loved to work on his family history and learn about his ancestors. He also enjoyed watching TV and movies with his grandchildren. He had a favorite companion, his dog, Rosie.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his brothers, Kelly and Randy Woods.
His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife of 44 years, Mary M. Woods; children: Stephen Terry (Michelle), Brian Eric, and Stephanie Marie; grandchildren: Haley Fairchild, Cody Lee Lattimer, J. Michael Lattimer, Destiny Lattimer, and Jeremy Lattimer; sisters, Linda Woods of Akron and Lisa (Ralph) Hayes of McArthur; brothers: Dick Woods of Dayton, Michael Woods of Kettering, Jeff (Laura) Woods of Akron, and Doug (Melissa) Woods of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where a funeral service will begin, officiated by Pastor Hollie VanHoose. A burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
