Steven F. Schmidt, age 56, of Kettering, OH passed away on Saturday September 7, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sonja Schmidt; and brother, Frank Schmidt Jr.
He is survived by his sister, Diane (Dean) Newman; special friend, Lois Youker; 4 grandchildren, Alexander, Jesse, Carmen, and Sierra Magill; nephews, Brian and Jason Newman; and many aunts and uncles.
Steven worked for 26 years at NCR, was a member of the NRA, and an avid NASCAR fan.
Visitation is Thursday September 12, 2013 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral service starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Pastor Ken Day of Day Spring Ministries will be officiating the service at the funeral home.
Interment is in David's Cemetery, Kettering, OH.
