Steven Carl Renacs, age 65, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was born July 4, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio, to his parents Steve & Jacqueline "Jackie" (Fortener) Renacs. Steven graduated from Colonel White High School class of 1970. He worked at Elder Beerman and St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Janet (Bartley) Renacs; children Dwight "Ike" & Amy Renacs and devoted daughter Angela Renacs; brother and wife Joe & Debbie Renacs; and nephews Joseph Renacs Jr., Steve Renacs, and Gregory Renacs and their families and cousin Teresa Fortener. He was preceded in death by both his mother and father. Steven had accepted Jesus Christ as Savior (and wanted everyone to do the same), was a faithful and loving husband, wonderful father, brother, uncle and friend. He was forced into early retirement allowing him to provide others with love and concern by mailing cards, frequent phone calls and personal visits to people he often knew only by first name.
Steven was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Kettering, Ohio where visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5-8pm. The service will be held on Saturday at 10am at the church. Steven will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
