Steven D. Pigg

October 10, 1970 — October 30, 2023

Steven D. Pigg, age 53, of Cleveland, and formerly of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with multiple health issues. He was born on October 10, 1970, in Kettering, OH, to Gary Lee Pigg and Linda Sue Jones. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sue "Susie" Rollins, in 2017. Their bond was unbreakable, and her memory lived on in his heart.

He was a proud father of two exceptional sons, Zach Pigg and Dylan Raby; and a beautiful granddaughter, Addison Raby; he is also survived by his father, Gary Lee (Barbara) Pigg; siblings, Cheryl (Jerry) Cripps, Darryl Pigg, Tricia Pigg and Michael Pigg; nieces & nephews, Krista Cripps, Brian Cripps, Kaitlin Pigg, John Pigg, Lauren Pigg, Tyler Roberson, Abby (Austin) Grothe, Gracie (Jake) Smith, Gabe and Garrett Pigg; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, stepfather Ronnie Rollins; and many friends.

Steve was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and Christian. He was a source of strength and joy within the family. His relationship with Jesus was an essential part of his life, guiding him to overcome life's challenges.

For the majority of his life, he dedicated himself to the construction industry, holding both a heavy equipment license and a certificate in construction management, he contributed to the creation of several golf courses in Southwest Ohio, notably Pipestone in his hometown of Miamisburg. He possessed skills in the irrigation industry and was highly proficient as a professional painter.

He was also known for his deep care for people, having a huge caring heart that made others feel accepted and loved. He was always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to all who needed it. Steve had a heart of gold and touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and football games will never be the same without him.

When Steve walked into a room, he quickly became the center of attention due to his big personality. His radiant smile, contagious laughter, and dynamic personality will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be etched in our hearts. We find hope in the knowledge that we will be reunited with Steve in the presence of God one day.

As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life. A life filled with love, laughter, and faith. A life that touched so many others. A life that will continue to inspire and guide us.

We are immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our friends, family, fellow believers, and the community. Your kind words, prayers, and gestures of sympathy have provided us with strength and comfort. We are grateful for your presence in our lives and for the love you have demonstrated during this difficult time. Your comforting words and acts of kindness have been a source of strength for all of us as we navigate through this profound loss.
