Steven C. May, age 59, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Steve was born in Dayton on January 27, 1962 to the late Jim & Donna (Reed) May.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andy & Pauline Reed; brother, Russell May; father and mother-law, Eugene & Betty Ballard and daughter, Allison Nicole May.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy May; children, James (Bethany) May, Lauren (Mark Mitchell) May and Marissa May; brother, Chris (Sherry) May; sister, Lisa Yahle-May; sisters-in-law, Tammie (Eric) Sharp and Sherrie (John) Ford; aunt, Kathy (Mike) Gallagher; and many other relatives and friends.
Steve enjoyed to ride his motorcycle, throw darts, play hockey and most of all he loved his family-and his beloved dog, Ammo.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 1-3 pm at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve's memory to the Kettering Cancer Center.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
