Steven L. Bucholtz

Bucholtz, Steven L., "Steve", age 45, of New Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
He worked at the City of Riverside as an Equipment Operator for 23 years, and also served on the Harveysburg, Ohio Police Dept. for 14 years. Steve was the Security Chief at the Ohio Renaissance Festival for 13 years, and was a member of the EAA Chapter 610 Flying Angels (at Andy Barnhart Memorial Airport in New Carlisle), and the CWA Union 4322. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the New Carlisle Misfits.
Steve was an avid camper and boater. He loved fishing, flying his plane, and spending time on his houseboat at Laurel Lake.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Bucholtz of New Carlisle; parents, Ray and Chris Bucholtz of Dayton; sister, Patty Klys (John Jones) of Dayton; Stephen Carroll; 4 nephews; 1 niece; and numerous other relatives and friends, and his dog "Queenie".
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the EAA(Experimental Aircraft Association) Young Eagles Program, 3000 Poberezny Rd, Oshkosh, WI 54902 or to the Clark Co Humane Society 5201 Urbana Rd. Springfield, OH 45502, in Steve's memory.
