Steven C. Young

Steven C. Young, a pillar of kindness and generosity, passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 67, but not before he was able to see Trump return as President. Born on June 15, 1957, Steven was a vibrant presence in the lives of many, known for his warm and inviting spirit.

A devoted husband for 23 years, Steven shared his life with his beloved wife, Marie T. Young. Together they built a family filled with love and laughter. Steven was a proud father to his son, Brett (Tosha) Sharp, and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren: Bentley, Paytan, and Alexis. He was a step-father to Tabatha & Heather. His legacy of care and support will undoubtedly continue through his family.

Steven was not just a family man; he was a friend to many. He had a unique ability to forge connections, earning the affection of those around him. An avid cook, Steven delighted friends and family alike with his culinary skills, always bringing joy to gatherings with his delicious dishes.

Nature was Steven's sanctuary. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his enthusiasm for fishing and hunting. He embraced every opportunity to explore the beauty of the world around him. An avid motorcyclist, he found peace and exhilaration riding his Harley, adventures that often drew his friends and family into shared memories on the road.

Steven’s green thumb was noteworthy, as he found joy in gardening, nurturing plants with the same care he offered to those he loved. Whether cultivating vegetables or decorative blooms, his garden flourished under his attentive eye.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; his son, Brett (Tosha) Sharp; his grandchildren, Bentley, Paytan, and Alexis; his step-daughters, Tabatha & Heather; his siblings, Delores, Donna, Dyla, and Jeff; his faithful companion, Snoopy; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Steven joins his parents, Viola and Charles Young, as well as his sister, Debby Ilo, in eternal rest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and love of life.
