June 23, 1953 — May 19, 2016

Steven E. Brahm, age 62, of Dayton, passed away on May 19, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on June 23, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, to George and Greta (Juhlin) Brahm.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Carl Brahm; father-in-law, Paul Payne; grandmothers, Gretchen Juhlin and Georgia Brahm.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah, his son, Andrew Brahm; two daughters, Kelly (Justin) Buehler, Christine (Kris) Parlett; six grandchildren, Jackson and Eva Buehler, Benjamin, Samuel, George and Eleanor Parlett; mother; Greta Juhlin Brahm; four siblings, Michael (Bev) Brahm, Carla (Bob) Savage, Jeffery (Annie) Brahm, Timothy Brahm; mother-in-law, June Payne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Steven was a 1971 graduate of Fairmont West High School. He was employed at Avery Dennison for nearly 32 years as a tool maker/machinist and had a very strong work ethic. He truly enjoyed his work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching and nature.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH, with funeral service immediately following at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton.
