Steven Robert Bachelor

Steven Robert Bachelor, age 75, of Tipp City, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2023. He was born in Dayton on August 8, 1948 to the late William and Bengaline Bachelor. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Bachelor and brother in law, Frank Goodwin.

Steve is survived by his wife of 38 years, Terri; daughter, Angi (Dennis) Dussia; grandchildren: David (Hayley), Dylan, Nicole, Heather, and Chelsea; great grandchildren: Caden, Kylee, Brody, Zoey, Brayden, Prestin, Hadley, Ethan, Cory, and Mac; sister: Toni Goodwin; sister in law: Jeanette Bachelor; as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Steve was a 1966 graduate of Northridge High School. He loved to play golf with his Dad, he also enjoyed bowling and going to Wright State Basketball games. Steve was a teacher and a coach for many years. He attended Vandalia Baptist Temple where he enjoyed being active with the youth group. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:30am at Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:30am, officiated by Pastor Rick Washburn, Jr. Steve will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville.
