Steve Becker

Stephen Becker, age 65 of New Lebanon, Ohio, passed away January 14, 2015. He was born December 30, 1949 in Middletown, New York. He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Becker.

Steve is survived by his son, Joshua; sister, Patricia (Dennis) Slingerland; nephews: Kyle and Chris; life-long friend, Bob Eck; several cousins and his companion friend, Micki Hartman.

Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., Vietnam War and was a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and Central Michigan University. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed being in the woods and touring the county roads on his Harley. He cared deeply for his family, friends and country and was a great father.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 pm. Military honors will be performed by the United States Marine Corps.
