Stephen M. Yardic

Stephen Michael Yardic, age 88, of Dayton, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020. He was born November 14, 1931 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania the son of the late Steve and Amelia (Radich) Yardic.
Stephen was a retired store manager for GC Murphy Company and Ames Department Store with 40 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #98, the American Legion #165, the Moose Lodge #1645 all in Miamisburg and the Eagles Lodge #2292 of Germantown. Stephen was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Almeda Marie Yardic; step-son, Harry Brown and step-daughter, Carol Brown.
Stephen is survived by his daughter-in-law, Deborah A. Brown; step-grandsons, Joe (Karen) Brown and Jon Brown; step-granddaughter, Jeannette Brown; 9 step-great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 12:00 PM, July 3, 2020 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
