My time has finally come to pass from this world to whatever or wherever we go from here. I am writing this myself because I didn't want the run of the mill obituary. I am survived by many loved ones and a few who just tolerated me. My journey through this world has been like so many others but yet uniquely my own. I've been from on top of the world to the pits of Hell. I've dined with the rich and famous and I've dances with the derelicts. There were moments that I will have cherished for my life's entirety, as well as moments from my life that I wish I could have just deleted completely. All those moments molded me into who I became. I spent the last part of my life trying to be a better person to those around me. I wasn't always successful, but I tried.
I grew up in a garden center from the age of 6 to 19. My parents, Art and Alberta Woolf, were the managers and we lived on the property. That is where I got my love of gardening, my dirt therapy. I was the youngest of six children. Jean Ann (William) Baker of Oakwood, OH, Joseph (Joyce) Woolf, Miamisburg, OH, Walter (carline) Woolf, Idaho, James (Diane-deceased) Woolf, Miamisburg, OH, and Dorothy (Perry) Boomershine, Miamisburg, OH. I had many nieces and nephews, and an ever-growing number of great-nieces and great-nephews. I had been married twice and divorced twice, as well as having had a few long term relationships that didn't end so well either. They were all beautiful ladies and I will have always remembered them that way. I was also fortunate to have many lifelong friends as well as friends from different countries around the world.
Before I started my first battle against cancer at the age of 45, I was enjoying life as much as I could. I spent a portion of my life traveling all over North America either as a driver for entertainers and different bands, or as a stage lighting tech for bands and shows. Eventually I came off the road and came home to stay home. Once I was home for good, I worked full time for Ideal Exterminating of Miamisburg, Ohio for many years and I continued to work part time with national acts passing through town and local bands doing stage lighting. I've worked with some of the best in the business and will always cherish that time. Lighting was one of many ways that I used to express my creativity. Those nights when every cue from the stage were magical. I lived for those nights. I also loved photography, woodworking, writing about anything I could use my mind and hands to create with.
I had many different battles with cancer over the years that left me disfigured from the surgeries and treatments. I can't gloss it over, it's a horrible disease that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Cancer changed me, changed my family, and changed my friends. If you smoke, please quit. If you live on processed foods, please eat healthy.
For all my family and friends I leave you with this… Never live a life with regrets. If you do wrong and fail to make things right, it will follow and haunt you. Let those around you know that you love them, don't just tell them—show them. Be a good example. Greet each day as a new beginning and make the most of it. Life is a lot simpler wearing and sharing a smile. Be grateful, be kind and be happy! I love you…

I'll be having no public memorial service. My remains will be cremated and scattered at an unnamed location while a memorial plaque with my name will be installed at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio.
