Stephen D. Turner, age 47 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 27, 1969 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Donald and Bonnie Turner.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
Stephen is survived by his wife Machelle; daughter, Amanda (Aaron) Morgan; two grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Morgan. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
While Stephen was taken from us too soon, he lived a full life! Always outgoing, he loved challenges and meeting new people and quickly made friends with strangers. Whether it was family or his wide group of friends, Stephen made an impact on their lives and was truly generous and loyal to all. Stephen will be missed by everyone who had their lives touched by him.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton.
