Stephen D. Richey "Steve"

Stephen D. Richey, "Steve," age 76 of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022. He was born April 19, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Dwight and Marjorie Richey.

Steve graduated from The Ohio State University and went on to work as a District Sales Manager at Heatbath Corporation. He was a man of faith and attended St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church. Steve had a love for nature and animals, especially bird watching in his younger days. He was an avid traveler who traveled all over the world exploring different places. He also loved watching hockey. The most important thing in Steve's life was his family, especially his grandsons, whom he loved watching grow into wonderful young men.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Rachel Richey; and grandsons, Travis Banks and Tristan Banks.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Richey; parents, Dwight and Marjorie Richey; and his beloved cats, Mr. Noggins and Trevor Pepper.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church (4451 Wagner Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45440). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.
