Stephen L. Ragan

Stephen L. Ragan, age 69 of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Soin Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Welby and Ruby Ragan.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stan Ragan; sister, Lynn Fahl; and brother-in-law, Raymond Gould.
Stephen is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathy; children, Mary K. (Richard) Szafarski, Stephen L. (Diana) Ragan, Lisa Ragan and Mark Ragan; grandchildren, Victoria, Sydney, Zachary, Noah and Amelia; siblings, Lee Gould, Sharon (Shane) Malloy; sister-in-law, Sandy (Don) Bullard; goddaughter, Megan LaFayette; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends and poker buddies.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church (6161 Chambersburg Road, Dayton, OH 45424). A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) OR The St. Peter's Catholic Church Food Pantry.
The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff in the ICU at Soin Medical Center for their exceptional care of Steve.
