Stephen Joseph Pahren, age 70 of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 3, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Irma Pahren.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Joyce; step-children, Daryl (Dawn) Curnutte, Beth Allen (David Lairson), Carla (Lane) Oatman, Cathy (Matt) Walters; brothers, Greg Pahren, Bert (Linda) Pahren; 3 nieces and 3 nephews, Lacey, Sydney, Mackenzie, Nick, Kyle & Cody Pahren; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at 1 pm in Dayton National Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Dayton and Miami Valley Hospital for the wonderful care they provided, as well as Dayton Fire Dept. Station 18 for their compassion and concern. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton in Stephen's memory.
