Stephen Robert Hoffman, 57, Moraine, Ohio
Steve Hoffman, age 57, a long term resident of Moraine passed away at 8:00 PM on the 10th of February, 2017 at the Laurels of West Carrollton, a local nursing facility.
He was born on May 19, 1959 at Miami Valley Hospital to Robert and Margaret Hoffman. His father passed away in 1989 and his mother, age 87, currently resides on Lamme Road in the house he grew up in. Steve never married and has no descendants. Surviving family members include his brother Richard, living in Madison, Alabama and sister Deborah Peters, living in Holliday, Missouri.
Steve was a graduate of West Carrollton High School - Class of 1977. Over numerous decades, he worked at a number of auto dealerships supporting the Parts Department, including his most recent employer, Matt Castrucci Auto Mall, where he worked until 2014.
He will be remembered as a simple, caring and gentle man who would do anything for anyone and never spoke ill of anyone. He will be missed by many.
A private memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church in Centerville for family members and friends at a date yet to be determined. Contact the church if interested in attending.
