Stephen Dennis Qvick, age 76 of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born November 3, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late Kennith and Gladys (Miller) Qvick.
Stephen was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He attended Wesleyan Evangelistic Church and was save by the Grace of God. He retired from Chrysler in 1996. Stephen loved spending time with his family. Steve loved the Cleveland Browns and has been a fan for over 50 years. He said the one thing he wanted was to see the Browns go to the play offs one more time before he passed. Well he did! He followed them all the way. He was a loving, caring man who loved his Lord and family above all else. He leaves behind a host of friends who he loved like family.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his two sons, Deron and Chad Qvick; two brothers, Jerrold and Phillip Qvick; brother-in-law, Robert Wooden; and sister-in-law, Pam Qvick.
Stephen is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patty Qvick; children, Mike (Rhonda) Moore of Germantown, Ohio: daughter, Teresa (Jim) Hart of Enon, Ohio: son, Chris (SherryBeth) Moore of New Carlisle, Ohio: sons, Steve (Lisa) Qvick and Brent (Kristi) Qvick: 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Brenda Wooden of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Ted Qvick and Jack Qvick; aunt, Barbara Ann Miller Garrett; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45304).
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home. With burial to follow at Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens.
