Stephany L. Cramer

Stephany Lynn(Jackson)Cramer, born April 13, 1947 in Dayton, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Kettering Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother Phyllis Nichols Jackson Bruner, and brother Richard "Denny" Jackson.

Stephanie is survived by her father Richard Jackson and wife Joanne; her husband of 31 years Duane Cramer; her sister Shirley Barnes and husband Harris; her daughter Courtenay Leopard and husband Steven; her daughter Brittney Crawford; her daughter Kennedy Cramer; her 6 grandchildren Brett Marlow, Sydenay Leopard, Bradley Marlow, Presley Leopard, Brayden Marlow, and Blake Marlow, along with many other family members and friends.

Stephany was an active hairstylist and salon owner in the Dayton area for over 50 years. She owned two hair salons, Dappers & Dames and Gable& Garbo. She enjoyed making various candies and confectionary treats for her company Confectionately Yours. Stephany and her daughter Courtenay won the 1989 Ohio Mother Daughter Pageant. She was named by Dale Huffman in the Dayton Daily News as the 1997 "Mother of the Year." Over the years, Stephany enjoyed spending her time visiting with her family, making candy, travelling, gardening, and going to the beach. Throughout her life, her caring heart has touched many people and brought great happiness and laughter to all that have been close to her.

A service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
