Stephanie M. "Taffy" Adams
Age 61, of Dayton passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Taffy is survived by her husband of the past 33 years, Donald D. Adams; five children, John Miller, Jeff (Cathy) Miller, Carlos Miller, Julie (Mark) Hamilton & Levi Adams; 16 grandchildren with another one expected in May; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Arnette Crocker Tressel & Alene (David) Brede; one niece, Gretchen; two nephews, Paul & Sean; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Taffy retired from the Miami Valley RTA as a "big" bus driver. She loved Karaoke and painting flowers in acrylic paints. She was also a talented pool player and in 1996 she was ranked 63rd in the World at the competition held in Las Vegas. She will be remembered as a beautiful, vibrant lady who could light up a room with her laughter. She was the foundation of her family and loved them deeply.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Taffy to the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
