Stephanie Eileen King DeVries, age 54 of Dayton, passed away June 5, 2020. She was born December 14, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents: Georgia Coleman Anderson and Edward King.
Stephanie is survived by her children: Justin Beall, Kierstin Beall and Lindsay Lafleur (Kevin); grandsons: Parker and Oliver; brother and sisters: Brent King, Deanna Gibbons, Vanessa Linville (Jason), Nancy Mann and Michelle Young (Bill); many special nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, including cousin and best friend, Mary Kreitzer. She is also survived by her beloved grand fur babies: Duncan, Dipper, Freyja, Brunhilda and Sophie.
Stephanie was a veteran of the U.S Air Force. She lived in California for 30 years and worked for DMEA. Stephanie enjoyed the outdoors; walking, hiking, rafting - she loved life and lived every day to the fullest. Family was everything to Stephanie, she was mom to everyone and was loved by all who knew her. Stephanie was a very giving woman who cared about everyone and everyone loved to hang with her. She was a member of New Lebanon Assembly of God.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2-4 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where a memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Stephanie's memory to the American Cancer Society or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
