Stella Marie Robinson, age 73, of Dayton, passed away on October 24, 2021. She was born in Paris, Texas, on February 5, 1948, the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Sudduth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Homer Robinson; siblings, Becky Sanderfer, Shirley Yates and Carl Sudduth.
Stella is survived by her daughters, Debra (Kenny) Rhodes and Lora (Jason) Jensen; 7 grandchildren; numerous great greandchildren; half brother, Roger Sudduth; her very dear close friend, who was like a son to her, Jeff White (the family viewed Jeff as a God-Send to them, the care and friendship shown to Stella by him was greatly appreciated); and many other loving family and friends.
She had worked United Rehabilitative Services for many years, retiring in 2020. In her free time, she enjoyed going fishing, reading, crocheting and was an avid animal lover. Stella had a wonderful sense of humor, she could always make someone laugh, but she also was able to stand up for herself when the situation arose. Although her health had deteriorated over the past few years, she still had a lot of life to live and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm, on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local animal rescue group in Stella's memory.
