Stefanija Rastikis

Stephanie Rastikis, age 94, passed away in Dayton, Ohio on April 8, 2015. She was born to the late Jonas and Marijona (Poskaitis) Poderys in Lithuania on April 26, 1920. Stephanie left her beloved homeland in 1943 and remained fiercely proud of her Lithuanian heritage. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother. Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Julius Rastikis; together they had four children Ausra Gose (Robert) Penkal, Julius (Jule) B (Treva Jenkins) Rastikis, Laima (Donald Vermillion) Rastikis, Tomas (Brenda Magnon) Rastikis; four grandchildren Steven Gose, Laura Brock, Christopher Vermillion, Stephanie Vermillion; six great grandchildren Steven Gose Jr., Ashley Gose, Casey Hill, Madeline Gose, Julia Brock, Teah Brock; two great-great grandchildren Lilyana Hicks and Jasmine Hicks. Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 9am-11am with a Catholic funeral Mass to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 12pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
