Starr "Sissy" Miller

Starr "Sissy" Miller, age 59 of Tipp City, passed away June 24, 2011. She was born September 7, 1951 in Breathitt County, KY to the late South Trusty and Genoia Kinnaird, who survives. In addition to her father, Starr was preceded in death by step-father, Harry B. Kinnaird; brother, Delbert Lee Trusty; and mother and father-in-law: Pat and Hank Miller.

Starr is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Frank Miller; children: Tracy Sutton, Charity (Jeremy) Paynter, Jeff (Heather) Miller and Neil Miller; 5 grandchildren: Bridgett, Ashley, Kaine, Laila and Peyton; brothers: Logan Dwight (Jewel) Trusty and Larry (Dorothy) Trusty; sisters: Debbie (Brian) Swangim, Donna (Mark) Pardue and Pamela Gale Trusty. Starr is also survived by many special nieces, several nephews, other family members and friends.

Starr was a loving, caring woman who always put everyone before herself; and had their best interests at heart. She was a fighter. She was a role model. Being a grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life. She was more of a mom than anyone could ever ask for.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Dayton Brethren In Christ Church, 3053 Valley Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45404. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. To send a special message to the family, please visit www.NewcomerDayton.com.
