Age 95, of Dayton, passed away, Sunday, March 14, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia & son James Szczep, Sr.
Stanley was a member of Queen of Martyrs Church & served in the US Navy. He was retired from Southwestern Ohio Carpenters Union & enjoyed golf & fishing.
Stanley is survived by his son Roger (Ann) Szczep; grandchildren James Jr., Emily, Tina, & Nicole; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Frank Sepp; other family & many friends.
Visitation will be held 5-7pm, Tuesday Mar. 16 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM, Wed. Mar. 17 at Queen of Martyrs, Dayton with Fr. Del Staigers, celebrant. Burial to follow at Spring Valley Cemetery.
The family would like donations to Catholic Relief Services.
