MITCHEM, Stanley G., age 70 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was born September 9, 1945 in Dayton, OH to the late Goldwin and Eloise Mitchem. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his sisters: Ellen Mae, Margaret, and Leona.
Stanley is survived by his sons: Stanley, Donald, and William Mitchem; brother, Ronald (Juanita) Mitchem; grandchildren: Stanley, Lynette, and Ricky Mitchem; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Stanley proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle, who will be greatly missed by his family and many others.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH) A service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
