Stanley M. Knabel, age 89, of Miami Township, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his residence.
Stanley was born on February 24, 1928 in Middletown, OH to the late Emil & Ida Knabel.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Knabel and his daughter, Jeri Deaton, of Franklin.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda Knabel; children, Sue (Richard) Knost, Steven (Jenny Gammell) Knabel, son-in-law Danny Deaton, Christy (Don) Cridlebaugh and Kirt Hutchinson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Baird.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 10-11am at Moraine City First Church of God (5867 N. Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449). The service will follow at 11am, with Pastor Russ Hayes officiating. Stanley will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton, OH.
