Sophia Abigail Louise Winkelman

Sophia Abigail Louise Winkelman entered into the everlasting care of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the 14th day of August 2022, at the tender age of 2 months and 20 days. Sophia was born on May 23rd earlier the same year in the city of Dayton at Kettering Health Main Campus to her parents Jereme and Krystal Winkelman.
At just 6lbs. 10 ounces, she immediately captured the hearts of those around her. Sophia loved listening to fine music by the like of Chopin and Mozart as well as the songs sung to her by her mother and father.
Sophia being the youngest of 10, was surrounded by her older siblings and loved being the center of attention. She also had a zeal for the outdoors, enjoying basking in the warmth of the sun, and the sweet summer breeze. She had the ability to light up an entire room and melt hearts with her little smile which she wasn't always so forthcoming. Sophia also had that look that even with no words let you know her discontent.
Her family loved her with an unconditional, unending, and undeniable kind of love that she freely shared back.
Sophia is survived by her parents Jereme and Krystal; an older sister Brittany; eight older brothers, Blake, Ian, Mikey, Brandon, Joseph, Ryder, Luke and Izaiah; her many aunts Julie, Amie, Dyana, Joanie, Emily, and Jennifer; as well as her many uncles Joshua, Jason and Dustin; grandparents, Kim and Richard Boutell, Joseph Purkey and Linda Wingard; a sea of cousins; and many other family members and friends who loved her.
She was dearly loved and even though her life was short it was full of blessings.
She is received in heaven by her great grandparents, one grandfather, and one aunt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 4PM to 5PM at Newcomer Centerville (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). A Celebration of Life will follow starting at 5PM, delivered by their Pastor Brenda Hatley, from The Block Church.
