Sophia Meadows

MEADOWS, Sophia, 78 of Centerville passed away Friday, December 28, 2007. She was a long time employee of Fidelity Health Care. Sophia is preceded in death by her husband James Meadows; brother Enos Teshon; and sister Josephine West. Sophia is survived by her daughter Irene (Dutch) Chaplin; son Thomas Payne; grandchildren Danny (Cynthia) Bowen and Sherrie Kline; greatgrandchildren Jonathan, Amanda, Chloe, Kiara, Skylar, and Shae; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends, including Carol and Gary Frick and very special friends Terry Dersham, Leeida and Ray Bowen, Jean Crause, and Jason Grolemy. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Pastor Leroy Chambliss will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, January 2, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Woodland Cemetery.
