Sonia Zoe Harford

Sonia Zoe Harford (nee, Bissinger), age 76 of Tipp City, formerly of Fairborn, passed away July 6, 2017. She was born May 30, 1941 in West Union, OH to the late Raymond and Virginia Bissinger. In addition to her parents, Sonia was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Harford.
Sonia is survived by her children: Mark (Lisa) Boger and Tabatha (Bruce) Corbett; 5 grandchildren: Abby (Brian) Snyder, Amber (Nick), Joe (Mykala), Scott (Brittany) and Robbie Boger; 10 great-grandchildren: Alexia, Alexis, Kaitlyn, William, Alyson, Taylor, Gracie, Brantley, Jaxson and Hudson; 4 sisters: Johnda (Vernon) Arnett, Cindy Russell (Sonny), Connie (Brian) Freeh and Jackie (Chuck) Fahnestock; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sonia worked at Fairborn United Methodist Church and Daycare Center for many years, as well as Roush's Restaurant, the Villa of Fairborn and Wright State University. Sonia's passion was cooking and baking and she loved the Christmas holidays.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm. To send a special message to the family, please click on Share Memories.
