Sondra Lea Mallory

Sondra Lea Mallory, "Sandy," age 78 of Riverside, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born December 2, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Mahaffey.

Sandy is survived by her husband of nearly 61 years, Lee; children, Dee Dee (Mike) Dawson, Leanna (Thomas) Timmonds, Steve (Rebecca) Mallory; 7 grandchildren, Andrew (Dayna) York, Amanda York (Kissana), Aaron Timmonds, Erica Timmonds (Josh), Steven Mallory (Sabrina), Crystal Mallory, Ethan Mallory; 8 great grandchildren, Eliana York, Reagan York, Logan Greer, Carter Abner, Grace Timmonds, Aiden Mallory, Hazel Mallory, and Addison McVey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sandy was a member of Airway Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was also involved in TOPS where she formed many lifelong friendships. Sondra loved spending the holidays with her family. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and mamaw who will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm with Dr. D. E. Nickel officiating.
