Skip M. Lawson, age 60 of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Riley "Skip" and Mary Anne Lawson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Riley "Skip" M. Lawson; sister, Diana Theewis.
Skip is survived by his mother, Mary Anne Lawson; sister, Kelly (Doug) Rawlings; brother-in-law, Rob Theewis; two nieces, Angela (Robert) Theewis-Sheets, Erin Rawlings; two nephews, Tom Theewis, Steven Rawlings; great-niece, Sarah Theewis; great-nephew, Gabriel Sheets; aunt, Marilyn Shively; two cousins, Janice Shively, Scott Shively; his faithful companion and beloved dog, Clancy; as well as many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA, The Humane Society or SICSA.
