Skeet Kent Whitacre , age 52 of Xenia, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home. He was born March 24, 1971 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Ronald "Skeet" and Clara "Reedi" Whitacre.
Skeet will always be remembered as looking like Santa and having the biggest heart. He enjoyed tinkering around, cooking and watching outdoor cooking shows. More than anything he loved his family and spending time with them. He and his sister were fondly called the Campbell's Soup Twins and he was also the Master of the board game, Clue. Skeet was a loving son, brother, partner, father and friend to many who will be dearly missed.
Skeet is proceeded in death by his father, Ronald "Skeet" Glenn Whitacre.
Skeet is survived by his mother, Clara "Reedi" Whitacre; sister and brother-in-law, Kitty (Michael) Whitacre-McKeever; life partner, Susan Pierce; kids, Justin Whitacre, Selena Pierce, Sarah "Sadie" Pierce, Tyler Whitacre, Nina Grafstrom and Dakota Whitacre; grandchild, Davina; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
