Sidney J. Walker Iii

Sidney J. Walker III, age 45, of Dayton, passed away on December 2, 2022. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 13, 1977 to Sidney Walker Jr. and Charlotte Martin. He attended the church of his grandfather, Rev. Rufus Martin, Faith Temple COGIC in Mansfield, Ohio during his childhood. He graduated from Mansfield High School, class of 1995. Sidney relocated to Dayton, Ohio in 2016, where he met the love of his life, Juliana, in 2017. They were married on December 19, 2020, where they have presided at their home in Dayton since then.

He loved life and his family. He was a wonderful husband, the love of his wife's life. He was supportive and loving towards his wife and family. His love for music was un-ending, and he could be found enjoying music 24/7. His love for family expanded to his new found love for his three dogs and cat. His smile and light will be truly missed.

Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.

Sidney III was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sidney Walker Sr. & Margie Walker, and his maternal grandfather.

He will be remembered by his beloved wife, Juliana Walker of Dayton; his father, Sidney (Donneattea) Walker Jr. of Dayton; his mother, Charlotte Martin of Mansfield; his son, Raekwon Cameron of Columbus; his brothers, Chez of Mansfield and Michael Vikers of Columbus; his sister, Marquetia (Damon) Jones of North Carolina; his parents-in-law: Rev. David (Mary Jo) Mix; his grandmother, Ossie Pearl Martin of Mansfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Spinning Road Baptist Church, 538 Spinning Road, Dayton, OH 45431, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00pm, officiated by Rev. David Mix.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made towards Sidney's legacy.
