Shurlitta "Litta/Punkin" RaShawnda Qualls' departed life on Thursday, October 8, 2015 as her "Purpose" had been fulfilled.
She was born to her mother, Ms. Martha V. Qualls and birth father, Mr. Daryl Allen but also had other "Special Father Figures" in her precious life.
Shurlitta was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. Bill & Jessie Qualls, nephew Bry'Von Jackson, niece Breah Jackson and cousin A'Chanta (Bam) LeShawn Postell.
Litta was a life-long resident of Dayton, OH and a current member of Rockhill Missionary Baptist Church. She had a loving and caring spirit and many talented gifts that she shared with everyone including being a caregiver to anyone who needed assistance. But mostly her passion would be in the kitchen doing what she enjoyed most cooking, baking or creating new hair styles!
She leaves to cherish her memory, her only daughter Ja'Veona Lenae Chanta Anderson; middle sister, ShaMia (Harold Johnson) Y. Qualls; niece, Harmoni; youngest sister, Le'Vonna (Brian Jackson) V. Randolph; niece, BryVen Jackson; nephew, Bryson Jackson; step sister, Carlisa Cox and her future nephew or niece; Aunts, Jessie V. Cowan & Debra Lynn Postell. A unique relationship with her cousins; Amica Chanta Moore, Jessie V. Burton, Amiel (Shawn) Qualls, James E. Burton, Zenovia Burton and Lonetta L. Postell and a host of many other relatives, loved ones, and friends including special friends/sisters Ms. Xiomara (Trouble)France and Javoya Smith.
I want to thank Newcomer Funeral Home for the special care provided by Cheryl Kelly in our time of need. She has been a blessing in our lesson.
