YOUNG, Shirley Deloris
age 69 of Trotwood went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 24, 2006. Shirley was born February 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Dorsey and Katherine Venable. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Raymond Young, Jr.; children, Vance J. (Cathy) Garner and Yolanda L. (Charles) Young-Davis; brothers and sisters, Loyce (Doris) Venable, Joyce Terry, Eunice Wooten and Kenneth (Gwen) Venable; grandchildren, Brian A. Garner, Brooke A. Garner and Mya L. Davis; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Another service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Ritchie & Johnson Funeral Parlor, 748 South Fayette Street, Beckley, WV. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.
