Shirley Ann Woolard, age 90 of Spring Valley, OH passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born June 9, 1930 in Eldorado, Illinois to Ebert and Verna (Tate) Hill. She married William Woolard on March 25, 1950 in Belleville, Illinois.
Shirley retired from Wright Patterson AFB where she worked in several departments as an Executive Secretary. She enjoyed spending time and watching television with her family. Shirley vacationed in Florida every winter with her daughters. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Shirley is survived by her daughters,Patricia G. Engler and Kelly A. (Russ) Whyde; four grandchildren, Aaron (Lindsey) Engler, Andrew Engler, Joe (Lindsey) Whyde and Justin (Traci) Whyde; six great grandchildren, Isaac, Jasper, Willow and Gabriel Whyde and Xander Engler and Alan Engler. She is preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; and a granddaughter, Jessica Whyde.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Woodland Cemetery-Xenia, OH.
