Shirley E. Woodgeard, age 84, of Huber Heights, passed away on March 5, 2022. She was born on April 6, 1937 to the late Charles and Eva Giffin.
She was a choir director at her church, and she loved taking care of her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Woodgeard Sr.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Rebecca Woodgeard, James F. (Benita) Woodgeard Jr., Naomi Norris, Daniel (Andrea) Woodgeard, and Matthew (Patricia) Woodgeard Sr.; grandchildren: Angela Norris, Nathaniel Norris, Kurtis Woodgeard, Alexandria Woodgeard, Matthew Woodgeard Jr., Zachary Dyer, Mikail Miller, and Christopher Dunworth; and a great-grandson: Rhys Norris.
A visitation will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30am. A burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
