Shirley Mae Stewart, age 76, of Beavercreek, passed on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Shirley was born on March 12, 1941 in Hamilton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Russell Miller and Clarence McCollum; and her beloved dog, Maggie.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Trina M. Purvis, Jamie D. Stewart-Coley and her husband, Curtis, and Sheila R. McBride; grandchildren, Seth McBride, Hannah Coley, Savannah Hix, Paige Purvis, Emma Coley and Grace Coley; siblings, Marlene (Richard) Luther and James (Pamela) Miller; and many other relatives and friends.

Shirley retired from GM after many years, and then decided to go back to school to become an esthetician where she continued to share her great beauty and humor with others. She was an empowering mom who taught her daughters strength, compassion and how to love through her inspiration of finding the beauty, good and the just in humanity. Shirley lived her life generously and with great faith.

A graveside service will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1pm.
We will meet at the cemetery entrance, in case you are not sure where to go.
