Shirley Rose Isaacs

June 2, 1937 — May 18, 2014

Isaacs, Shirley R. (Smith), 76, of West Carrollton, Ohio, widow of the late Lenval Isaacs, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Shirley was born on June 2, 1937 in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Lloyd & Dolores Smith.

Shirley spent most of her adult life in the Dayton area, employed until retirement by Hollander Industries. After retirement, she returned to Tennessee, where she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her sisters and brother, as well as being a member of the New Hope Church. Shirley was an eternally loving mother, having raised 5 children on her own after being widowed in 1975, and her loving ways continued on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many others who came to be her "extended family".

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Michael (dec. August, 2011). She is survived by Jeffrey & Robin Isaacs, Zeke & Lauren Isaacs and Mark Isaacs of Dayton, Ohio and Pamela & Tom Colceri of Georgetown, KY. Shirley was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 8 great-children.
