Shirley Peeler

PEELER, Shirley, age 76, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010. She was born November 5, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Orville and Martha (Carter) Rike. Shirley retired from Meijer's in Kettering. She is survived by her children, Robin (Denny) Fortner, William Peeler II, and Monica Seifert; 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Carter Rike. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 S. Kettering Blvd) with visitation 1 hour prior to time of service. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to the family.
