Shirley Marie McWain
Age 69, of Riverside, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at her home.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. McWain, sisters, Edna Bryant, Betty and Charlotte Allen; brothers, William Allen and Jimmy Willis.
Shirley is survived by four children, Sheila, Harold & Connie, Bridgette & Jay and Pam & Ronnie; one special granddaughter, Holly, and Crystal, Jessie, Jake, Josh, Gabriel, and Cyndal; three great grandchildren, Heaven, Destiny and Gabriella; three sisters, Mildred & Sherman, Esther and Clairette; and by one brother, David & Barb.
Shirley retired from G. M. and was a member of the Local I.U.E. #755. She was a loving mother, enjoyed her family, and was a best friend to all.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 10:30 a.m., Monday. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that contributions be made in memory of Shirley to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
