Shirley Lou Sparks, age 76, of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born March 5, 1939 in Midway, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Sparks and parents, Thurman and Zella Mays.
Shirley is survived by her five daughters, Theresa L. Sparks, Lisa Y. (Jesse) Bridges, Shelia A. Collins, Tonya M. (Carl) Leach and Sonya L. Sparks; five sons, Kenny L. (Debbie) Sparks, Tommy D. Sparks, Jimmy E. Sparks, Kerry L. Sparks and Tony S. (Julie) Sparks; two brothers, Cecil (Gwen) Mays and Johnny Mays; sister, Delores (Jerry ) Hodge; sister-in-law, Shirley Gaddiss; 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - South, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439. Burial at Willow View Cemetery.
