Shirley Mae Keller

Shirley Mae Keller, age 86, of Huber Heights, passed away on September 25, 2021. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on August 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Albert and Edna Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clarence Barron and Ralph Keller; and her brother, Ralph Nelson.

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Connie (the late James) Archer, Gary Barron and David (Kathy Johnson) Barron; grandchildren, Charlene Archer, Thomas Archer, Rebecca Archer, and Adam Barron; several great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Shortnacy, Wanda Wilson, Charlotte Elliott and Robert Nelson; and many other loving family and friends.

She was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church for many years. Shirley was a very devoted church member, mother and grandmother. Her faith meant the world to her, she enjoyed reading the Bible, listening to Gospel music and gardening.

Donations may be made in Shirley's memory to Dayton Children's Hospital, Attn: Foundation, One Children's Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404-1815.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Bradley Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
