Age 80, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009, at Sterling House of Beavercreek.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gale Thomas Demaree, in 2003.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Demaree and Peggy, and her husband, Dan Wolf; three sons and daughters-in-law, Terrance & Roberta, Daniel & Mary and Michael & Karen Demaree; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Eileen Pruzzo; and by one brother, William Strady.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday (1/12) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Dayton. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Shirley to the Alzheimer's Association.
