Shirley Ann Gill (Hept), age 73, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton after a lengthy . She was born on July 30, 1944 to the late Ralph Hept and Louise Obal (Roush). She was a 1962 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Wright State University. She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for many years and retired from Alternative Solutions with special recognitions and awards.
Shirley was a lover of animals and nature. She enjoyed ballet, art, and karate. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Hept; mother, Louise Obal (Roush); and son, Tony Csaszar.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Surjit Gill; sons, Allen (Joyce) Ogletree IV, and Henry "Chip" (Charlotte) Jones; sisters, Linda Achor and Marsha Sluss; numerous loving grandchildren and great-granchildren; long-time friend, Elizabeth Hubbard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
